Want to Play my iPad?

Hugs!

'No.. I can't play your iPad?  That's what I think about that!'

Is That Comfortable?!

I saw Porter sleeping on my Thirty-One bags tonight... I can't imagine that is a comfortable place to sleep.  But I guess it is true that cats can fall asleep anywhere.

Silly Boy

Being silly

Exersaucer Lovin'

Miss Chloe loves being in her exersaucer.  She loves to play with all of the different animals and listen to all of the different sounds and songs it has.

Sleeping Partners

I came home from work this afternoon and found Grandpa and Chloe taking a little snooze together.  They both looked mighty comfortable!

Where Did He Go?

Can you find AJ?  I can't seem to find him anywhere!

Skinny Jeans

I never thought I would say this, but I am actually trying to new trend of skinny jeans.  I bought my first pair today and figured I would try them out tonight.  I mustered up the courage to put them on and take a selfie to see how they look.  It's going to take a little getting used to, but I think I might end up liking the skinny fit!

Auntie Carrie Fun

Auntie Carrie came over for a yummy dinner of spiral ham, twice baked sweet potatoes and broccoli trees! I'm not exactly sure what was going on tonight, but AJ willingly let Auntie Carrie hold him like three or four times and Miss Chloe, aka cricket, smiled for Carrie and even let her hold her. It was like a miracle on Holton Road tonight!

Playdate!

On our way out of the doctors office, we saw Molly who was coming in for a shot - ouch! Auntie Lauren and I knew we would see each other and decided we would make a late morning/afternoon of it. After we were all done, we headed over to Auntie Lauren's house for a play date with Molly and Quincy. Chloe took a short nap while we played outside with the kiddos on the wagon, slide and water table and enjoyed the vitamin d we finally were getting! Then it was inside time for lunch and more playing! Chloe woke up too so she was able to get in on the playtime!

Molly and AJ really hit it off today. They were loving playing together and it was quite evident after we left because Molly kept asking for AJ. See the videos below for the cuteness factor! Molly also absolutely loves Chloe - all she wants to do is give her hugs and kisses. It is absolutely adorable band Chloe just eats it right up!  I love how much they all get along and play together - I'm so happy they all get to grow up together!

Thanks to Auntie Lauren and Molly for a fun play date today!

New Pediatrician

We met with Dr Kumar for Chloe's 6 month appointment today. Despite a rough morning of running late because I didn't hear the alarm, accidentally shutting AJ's fingers in the downstairs door and then Chloe spitting up as I buckled her in the car seat, we made it to her 9:30am appointment on time!  Dr. Kumar has some big shoes to fill since we had to leave Dr Long because of his retirement, but I think he can do the job! He's a very nice, soft spoken man and he seems to love working with the kiddos.

For her six month check-up, Dr. Kumar said Chloe is perfect! She weighed in at 13lbs 9.25oz and is 26 inches long. Our baby girl is growing up fast!  He suggested we get a second opinion on the removal of her beauty mark on her leg and is giving us a referral to a pediatric dermatologist, Dr. Chang in West Hartford.  He was really great with Chloe and AJ too (although AJ tried to hide from him the entire time he was in the room with us!).  Miss Chloe wasn't too happy with Louise who gave her three shots and neither was AJ.  After she had given Chloe the first two shots, AJ told her to stop hurting his Chloe. It made me proud to know he was looking out for her and to see how compassionate he is for her well-being.

Although it's going to take some time for us to get adjusted to a new doctor, I think we'll be happy with Dr. Kumar at Marlborough Pediatrics. Thanks Auntie Lauren for the recommendation!
