Cousins Dinner!

Another non-planned event!  We invited Cioci Kimmy, Uncle Jason and the girls over along with Auntie Lauren, Uncle Matt and Molly for a chicken wing feast!  We figured it was the last weekend of summer before school started so why not get the cousins together for a fun dinner and playdate!

Play and Pool Fun at Auntie Lauren's House

This afternoon we headed over to Auntie Lauren and Uncle Matt's house. AJ, Molly and Chloe played outside for a bit before we all went in for a delicious lunch of cheeseburgers, chicken sausage and Michael's delicious zucchini relish.  AJ even joined in on the fun of eating a cheeseburger!! (He's been willing to try to new foods lately and I am soo stinkin' excited about it!)  He ate about half of a cheeseburger - go AJ! After lunch we put Chloe down for a nap and headed into the pool. It was a bit chilly at first, but after awhile we got used to it and AJ and Molly were loving chasing after each other on the porch. There were even a few cousins hugs!  While we were swimming, AJ told me had to go pee. Instead of drying off and going inside, I decided to take him to a shaded and secluded area around the pool and had AJ drop his draws and pee. According to him he was 'feeding the dirt.'  The things that come out of kids mouths!  Thanks for letting us come over and hang out for the afternoon guys!

Cousin Time!

While the big little kiddos had a sleepover at Baba and Dziadzi's tonight, the original cousins (minus Kristin out in CA!) went out to dinner at Fat Cat Grill in Norwich and then had a girls night at my house.  Cousin time is always so much fun for all of us! 

I couldn't drop off AJ without some niece time!

Playdate!

On our way out of the doctors office, we saw Molly who was coming in for a shot - ouch! Auntie Lauren and I knew we would see each other and decided we would make a late morning/afternoon of it. After we were all done, we headed over to Auntie Lauren's house for a play date with Molly and Quincy. Chloe took a short nap while we played outside with the kiddos on the wagon, slide and water table and enjoyed the vitamin d we finally were getting! Then it was inside time for lunch and more playing! Chloe woke up too so she was able to get in on the playtime!

Molly and AJ really hit it off today. They were loving playing together and it was quite evident after we left because Molly kept asking for AJ. See the videos below for the cuteness factor! Molly also absolutely loves Chloe - all she wants to do is give her hugs and kisses. It is absolutely adorable band Chloe just eats it right up!  I love how much they all get along and play together - I'm so happy they all get to grow up together!

Play date with Molly

We headed over to Auntie Lauren and Uncle Matt's house this afternoon for a playdate.  Amongst all the fun the kiddos were having, us adults ordered chinese food and had adult conversation!  We always have a lot of fun when we have our cousin time!

Up first was playtime on the water table.

They played so well together! 

Then we moved inside for some yummy lunch and snacks.

Even Chloe was enjoying the play time!

It is the most adorable thing to see Molly interact with Chloe... they adore each other and 

it's quite apparent by the smile on Chloe's face!

Molly wanted to sit next to Chloe, but unfortunately the seat wasn't big enough.

This began the hug train...  Chloe, Molly and AJ couldn't get enough of hugging each other! And Molly was all about giving Chloe kisses too! 

We're so lucky to live close by to all of our cousins so our kiddos can have the same experience growing up that Cioci Kimmy and I did with Auntie Lauren and Auntie Kristin.  I have a feeling we will have many more cousin playdates in the future!
