Play and Pool Fun at Auntie Lauren's House

This afternoon we headed over to Auntie Lauren and Uncle Matt's house. AJ, Molly and Chloe played outside for a bit before we all went in for a delicious lunch of cheeseburgers, chicken sausage and Michael's delicious zucchini relish.  AJ even joined in on the fun of eating a cheeseburger!! (He's been willing to try to new foods lately and I am soo stinkin' excited about it!)  He ate about half of a cheeseburger - go AJ! After lunch we put Chloe down for a nap and headed into the pool. It was a bit chilly at first, but after awhile we got used to it and AJ and Molly were loving chasing after each other on the porch. There were even a few cousins hugs!  While we were swimming, AJ told me had to go pee. Instead of drying off and going inside, I decided to take him to a shaded and secluded area around the pool and had AJ drop his draws and pee. According to him he was 'feeding the dirt.'  The things that come out of kids mouths!  Thanks for letting us come over and hang out for the afternoon guys!

Chloe's First Swim Class - Spring Swimester 2014

Chloe got to experience her first swim class today!  It was a bit chaotic because it was also AJ's first time being on his own in swim class and he wasn't a fan of not being with Mommy.  Lots of tears were shed by both Mommy and AJ, but Chloe was a trooper and loved the pool!  Luckily for Mommy, Cioci Kimmy and Maddie were in the parent-tot class with Chloe and so I had a little bit of help to calm me down and let me know that it was okay for AJ to cry it out.  And when I say cry it out, I mean he cried and screamed so loud for everyone to hear him in the pool area.  It ended up that we only kept him in the pool for about  fifteen minutes in class because we didn't want to traumatize the poor kiddo on his first day of being by himself in the water.

Pool Fun at Cioci Kimmy's

Cioci Kimmy watched AJ for me this morning so I could go in to work early since we were supposed to have a play date with Marisa and Riley this afternoon.  Unfortunately though, Marisa had to cancel at the last minute because Riley wasn't feeling good.  Even though we were bummed about the cancellation, we didn't let that stop us from having fun after I got home from work.  Off into the pool we went!

Sweet Dreams

We had our first swim class of the summer swimester tonight at 5pm at Salt Rock campground tonight and it was a hot one!  AJ absolutely loved it though - he was so lively and chatty during class.  He had so much fun though that he tuckered himself out and fell asleep on the car ride to Baba and Dziadzi's for dinner and then proceeded to sleep from 6-8pm, only to wake up for the car ride home and for Mommy to change him into his pajamas.  As I was changing him, I asked him if he wanted to eat dinner or go nuh-night and he said he wanted to eat.  So while I went to let Timber outside and then warm up his dinner, I put AJ on his Mickey couch with his blanket (the A/C was on so it was a bit cool in the house), but by the time I came back upstairs he was passed out again.  Needless to say, I think he's out for the night.
