I always post a ton of pictures of my kiddos, but hardly any of our cat Porter.  Isn't he just the cutest?  I love his green eyes.

While Chloe was having some tummy (and back) time this morning, Timber came down and laid right next to her.  He then proceeded to put his paws on her tummy and claim her as his...  I guess he really does love her!

I know the picture is blurry, but it's such a heart-warming picture that I have to share.  Both Timber and Porter went into AJ's room while he was sleeping and made sure has had company.  Porter curled up next to him on the bed while Timber preferred the floor.  I absolutely loved seeing this when I peeked in on AJ this early morning.

Swim Bladder Disease

Just a few days ago we had a scare with Truck, one of our beloved goldfish.  I was nursing Chloe and about to put her in the bassinet, when I noticed that Truck was swimming kinda sideways and acting really skiddish.  By the time I text Michael and he came in the nursery to look at him, Truck was still completely alive, but floating upside down.  I wasn't sure what was going on, but Michael knew right away that something was wrong with his swim bladder.  So naturally, we googled it to find out exactly what was wrong with Truck.  The first info Michael found was that Truck wasn't going to make it.... so then the discussion of what do we do and how do we tell AJ that he only has two fish now began.  Michael was set on flushing him and trying to hide it from AJ.  I wasn't convinced that he wasn't going to make it so I googled it a little bit more and realized he had swim bladder disease, which is completely curable and Truck would be just fine with a change of water and some frozen peas.  Phew - the dreaded conversation with AJ would not have to happen - huge relief right there!

Fast forward to today and Truck is completely fine!  But through this whole ordeal, I realized I don't have any recent pictures of our fishies!  So without further ado... here are Cow, Truck and No-Name!

Howling Time

Early Saturday Morning

AJ woke up at 5:30am this morning so I brought him into bed with us.  Isn't he just an angel when he sleeps? 

But because AJ accidentally kicked Daddy in the face while he was in the bed, Daddy went out on the couch.  Timber and Porter didn't want him to feel alone so they joined him. 

Pet Store and the Goldfish

Last week, Daddy had Grandpa bring down his three gallon fish tank in hopes that we would get AJ a pet fish in the near future.  Well, that near future was today!  When we dropped of AJ at Babcia and Dziadzi's last night, we promised him that we would take him to the pet store in the morning where he could pick out his own beta fish.  Needless to say, he was super excited!  So we picked him up and off to Petco in Lisbon we went. 

First we saw the ferrets, but they were too smelly for Mommy to stand next to them and

 take a picture...So it was off to see the hamsters!

And now... introducing his two new fish (we caved and let AJ pick two goldfish instead of one beta fish!) who he named himself.....
