Puzzles!
We broke out the bigger kid puzzles tonight and tried to have AJ help us put them together. But all he wanted to do was take apart our hard work... maybe in a few months he'll be ready for them?!

A Little Bit of Color
AJ saw that Allie and Katie had their Princess coloring books and crayons out on the table this afternoon and decided he wanted to join in. Allie was having none of it and took her coloring book away from AJ the second she saw him trying to color in it, but then Katie came to the rescue! Thanks Katie for letting AJ get some princess coloring in!

Frito R & R Dinner
Tonight was Frito Lay's Rewards and Recognition banquet at The Mashantucket Pequot Museum at Foxwoods. Grandma and Grandpa came over to watch AJ for us and we were able to get all dressed up and enjoy a night out alone!

Katie and Allie slept over Babcia and Dziadzi's last night so I knew the routine for this morning.. We would get a call from Katie asking if AJ could come over and of course I can't turn down a request for the cousins to spend some quality time together!
Upon our arrival we were informed it was pirate dress up time!

After dress up, AJ and Katie went to play in Snow White's cottage...
And we had a visit from Princess Belle!

Wrights Chicken with Friends
Today we met up with Julie, Reyo and X for lunch at Wright's Chicken in Rhode Island. Both of the boys were fantastic thanks to the toys Julie brought with her (such a saving grace!) and the adults enjoyed a tasy lunch! We can't wait until our next outing!

Bowling and Babysitting
A month or so ago, I made plans with Danelle and Dave to go out for a night of bowling. We hadn't had a double date in quite some time and Daddy and I just wanted a night of fun and relaxation! Instead of asking our usual babysitters, Grandma and Grandpa and Babcia and Dziadzi, we decided to go out on a limb and have Stacey and her boyfriend Matt come over and watch AJ! This was a big step for us - someone else would be watching our sweet little boy! But in the end, it ended up being more of a dogsitting evening for Stacey and Matt rather than a babysitting evening since we went out so late. Before we left, I put AJ down for the night and made sure Stace and Matt knew what to do in the event of an emergency (always have to be prepared for anything, right?!). After a few check-ins through text messages and a fun night of bowling, we came home to find our house still standing, Timber still breathing and AJ still sleeping. I think our first night out with another family member baby -aka dog- sitting was a success!! Thanks again to Stacey and Matt - you guys rock!!
Stacey wasted no time when she got here.. she was playing with AJ in an instant!
AJ was absolutely loving the attention!

Valentine's Day 2013
After spending our Valentine's Day evening with Babcia and Dziadzi eating Chinese food (Daddy had a work dinner that night - boo!), we came home to find a present left from Cupid!
AJ was super excited to find a present!

I had a tough time getting AJ to look at the camera because he was more interested in the iPad than tqaking a cute picture for Mommy!
But I finally got Daddy to make him smile... and even though he's not looking directly at the camera,
my Valentine cutie-pie still melts my heart!
Big Boy
AJ is starting to show his independence and wanting to do things himself. He now has figured out that he can use his Thomas potty as a stepstool to climb up on and stand at the sink and wait for Momma to help him wash his hands. And at Babcia and Dziadzi's, he brings over the stepstool to the counter and waits for me to help him. Such a big boy!
