Vacation Day 7

On our last full day of vacation we kept it pretty simple.  We made our way to the Disney Marketplace and did some last minute shopping in the morning.  AJ and Mommy rode the Marketplace Train Express together and then Chloe joined us on the Marketplace Carousel.  We then headed to Sweet Tomatoes for one last lunch.  It was then back to relax before Mommy and Daddy enjoyed a nice dinner out at Planet Hollywood and some shopping for the kiddos at the Buena Vista outlets.  Thanks to Babcia and Dziadzi for watching the kiddos for us!

AJ absolutely loved the train... he waved every time we went around 

and saw Daddy, Chloe, Baba and Dziadzi.

While we were out at dinner, Baba and Dziadzi took the kiddos to the pool one last time.  One our walk home from the pool, I was able to capture this picture of the resort at night. 

Tomorrow we make the journey home.  It's always a very sad day when we have to leave Orlando.  

Vacation Day 6

After a yummy breakfast at Golden Corral and some shopping at Buy Buy Baby for a carseat cover (because ours ripped on the flight down), we spent the afternoon at the Pirate Ship pool at the resort.  Unfortunately, I didn't get any pictures of the pirate ship because we were enjoying ourselves too much and didn't bring the camera in the water with us.  That's ok though.. we have these few memories from our day at the pool!

Chloe enjoyed a nap while everyone else ate dinner at our favorite restaurant, Sweet Tomatoes.

After we got the kiddos settled and into bed, our night ended with meeting up with Daddy's friend, Kurt and his wife at the Gnarley Barley - a redneck bar that had lots of good brews! 

Vacation Day 5

Today we headed back to Gator Land for our second visit.  Michael and I first went on our babymoon when I was pregnant with AJ.  And now we got to bring both of our kiddos with us to share in the excitement of Florida's wildlife!

AJ was a little apprehensive about the gators.

Apparently at GatorLand there are birds everywhere too!

And goats too.

These goats were ruthless.  They wanted to eat anything and everything they came into contact with.

We bought a few ice cream cones which held some goat food 

and AJ and Daddy let the goats go to town.

AJ loved it!

After the goats it was lunch and selfie time!

Then it was lunch time for the gators - turkey hot dogs!

AJ loved throwing the hot dogs to the gators, although the birds would sometimes intercept them!

Next up was this guy, the Emu.

AJ got to feed him too.  But he fed him corn, not ice cream cones!

And while we were taking a little rest from all the walking, this guy joined us. 

Simply beautiful.  

Time to fuel up!

Off to see the tortoises next!

And a huge snake, which Mommy was most certainly glad it was behind glass!

Our night ended with a visit to Tijuana Flats (a taco place) to meet up with Mommy's college friend, Shelly and her husband, Jolyon.  It wouldn't be a complete Florida vacation without a visit with them!

The night ended like this... Like Babcia, like grandson!
