The North Pole at West Farms 2012 - Part 2

After dancing around for about 5-8 minutes, it was AJ's turn to sit on Santa's lap.  I was super excited for AJ to see Santa again and to get that perfect Santa picture.  Unfortunately, AJ had different plans.  As we turned the corner and saw Santa, AJ was good.  However, the second I gave him to Santa and walked  towards the camera to get his attention, all hell broke loose.  He started screaming bloody murder and no Santa bells or clapping or 'AJ, it's ok - Momma's right here' worked.  Therefore, this is the Santa picture we got this year:

After our picture with Santa, we met up with Julie and Dexter for dinner at the Rainforest Cafe.  As we walked into the Cafe, AJ was intrigued by all the butterflies and animals making noises.  He was shouting 'Mom mom' as he usually does when he gets excited.  But once we sat down and the gorillas next to us started to move and make sounds, all hell broke loose again.  He started screaming and the only way he would quiet down was if I was holding him.  So, for the rest of dinner, I held and comforted him while he took a nap all snuggled up on me.  Once we finished dinner, Julie, Dexter, AJ and I parted ways and headed home.  

Needless to say, I'm hoping next years trip to The North Pole will go a bit smoother and be less eventful!
