Daddy's Yogurt

Daddy's been away since Sunday of this week and we miss him lots! So much so that Mommy decided to eat one of daddy's yogurts and share it with our little guy (with a big person spoon!).  I, of course, took pictures to send them to Daddy to make him laugh!

Tubby Time!

For bath time, we normally fill up the little tub for AJ, wash him and let him play after in the water while he is lying down.  However, he doesn't do much playing other that kicking his legs because he's leaning back so much.  So this morning while I was giving him a bath, I decided to be adventurous and fill up the entire tub and let him play in the big tub.  It was a hit! He loved playing with his little tugboat and all the animal squirty toys after I washed him up.  I know from now on there is no going back to the little tub - he enjoyed being a big boy in the big tub way too much!!

A Morning at Holmgren Subaru

This morning I had to get the oil changed in the Sonata at Holmgren Subaru.  Since Michael was at work, I took AJ with me and I was hoping I would be able to entertain him for the length of time we would be there.  Lucky for us, they added some kids toys in their waiting room so that helped to keep AJ occupied!  And we also ended up chatting with a lady who knew one of Michael's co-workers and she thought AJ was the most adorable little boy (who wouldn't?!).

The Big Debate

Many of you know that I am a Yankees fan and Michael is a Red Sox fan.  So, of course when it comes to AJ, he has to like both teams for now until he can make his own decision (but I know he will pick the Yankees over the Red Sox if he knows what's good for him!!).  Well, for my baby shower Auntie Sarah gave us a cute little shirt that said 'My First Red Sox Tee'.  I wasn't a fan of it, naturally - but Michael loved it.  Well, fast forward to when I was in the hospital and just had AJ, Auntie Jeanette gave us a 'My First Yankees Tee'.  He's finally big enough to wear both of them so on one day AJ was a Red Sox fan and the next day he was a Yankees fan.  The big debate won't be over for a few years so until then... he'll sporting both team logos!

Sleeping Timber

While I was on the floor having playtime with AJ, Timber took it upon himself to jump up on the couch and take a little snooze.  Silly dog!

My Little Cutie

Auntie Kristin has given AJ some cute outfits to wear - one is a UCONN shirt that she got for Mommy's baby shower and the other is an adorable sweater vest outfit for Christmas.  Just the other day he was able to wear both of them and of course I have to show him off!

A Box and Some Love

After an afternoon lunch and shopping date with Auntie Sarah up in Worcester, MA, AJ and I decided to stop over Babcia and Dziadzi's house because Daddy had just gotten called in to work.  When we arrived we found out that Katie was having a sleepover with them and she was super excited to have visitors!  We played around for a bit and she showed us some new dance moves that she has... what a cutie patootie!  AJ also got an early Easter present from Babcia and Dziadzi - a stuffed dinosaur with a matching dinosaur blanket.  They were both packaged in a box so naturally Baba and I decided to put AJ in the box.. too funny!

AJ was sitting on my lap this morning and I had a good side profile view of him.  So, of course I took out my iPhone and took a few pics of him and I absolutely love how they came out!  They're so simple, yet they show off his amazing features.  I love my AJ so much!

Stacking Cups!

We brought out a new toy this morning to play with....stacking cups from Aunt Kathy and Uncle Steve down in VA!  Thanks guys - they're so much fun!

My Little Reader

We read to AJ every night before bedtime and he seems to love books!  So while he was playing today I gave him a book to play with and with a little help from Momma, he started to 'read' it!  What a cutie!

AJ's First Valentine's Day

Today we celebrated AJ's first Valentine's Day.  Babcia and Dziadzi got him an adorable outfit to wear specifically for today and he totally rocked it!  

AJ got to spend the majority of the day with Grandma and Grandpa because it was a Tuesday and that's Mommy's long day at work.  But once Mommy and Daddy got home, we opened up Valentine's Day presents!  AJ first opened up the gift from Mommy and Daddy and then we moved on to Babcia and Dziazdi's present... (we had opened Grandma and Grandpa's gift last week!!)

Then we had a delicious dinner of chicken wings with different sauces prepared by Daddy.  What an awesome First Valentine's Day for our little man!

Dinner at Cioci Kimmy's

Instead of our usual dinner at Babcia and Dziadzi's on Monday nights, we switched it up a bit and went to Cioci Kimmy's for chinese food with Babcia and Dziadzi.  Before dinner and while Allie was napping, Katie and AJ hung out and played for a bit.  Katie was even gracious enough to let AJ play with her pink and purple My Little Pony's!

We then ate dinner and were given these awesome Valentine's from Katie and Allie...

And after dinner we hung out for a bit before it was time for us to leave.  Allie finally woke up from her 3 hour long nap and I caught her playing on the computer!

And then Katie decided she wanted to pose for me with her new Valentine's Day cup from Babcia and Dziadzi.  (She almost always wants to get away from the camera so when she said she would pose, I was on top of it like white on rice!!)

It may be a bit blurry since I took it with my iPhone, but who cares, right?! She's adorable!

And then we went home.  Such a good night with family!
