After we had booked our trip to Orlando in May, we found out we were going to be down there the first weekend of Disney Hollywood's Studios Star Wars Weekend. Michael was over the moon for this and was actually excited for a Disney Park! Woohoo!!
What we saw on the stage when we walked in... It was all pretty cool!
The stormtroopers were making conversation with the audience and
.telling funny jokes. It was entertaining....but...
Daddy found out we could meet Chewbacca so off to that queue line we went.
Somebody is happy to be in a Disney Park!
AJ was really excited to see Chewy, but when we got closer in for the picture, he was not having it. Poor kid was scared out of his mind while Chloe was intrigued and couldn't stop staring!
Waiting for the parade to start
Mom..stop taking pictures of me!
The stormtroopers in full force marching down Hollywood Boulevard.
Wookies taking a stroll.
Ewoks... man, I know too many characters for this Star Wars things!
Daddy was SUPER excited to see Peter Mayhew, the actor who
played Chewbacca in the original Star Wars Movies.
Darth Vader!
Chloe was fast asleep during the parade, until the fireworks went off!
The stroll down Hollywood Boulevard led to the stage and then back down the Boulevard again.
Jedi Mickey
AJ was so excited to see his best bud!
We got lucky enough to see some more actors from the Movies...
Ashley Eckstein from The Clone Wars.
Vanessa Marshal from Star Wars Rebels: The Animated Series
Daddy's least favorite character: Jar Jar Binks and Ahmed Best who played him.
Peter Mayhew again.
Mr. Stormtrooper on patrol.
Look at our little guys rosy cheeks - it was quite hot today!
The snack bar inside the Darth Mall where they had the yummy cupcakes!
Said yummy cupcakes!
Yup - they tasted as delish as they looked!
Lunch time!
Waiting with Dziadzi for lunch to be delivered by Daddy and Baba.
We met up with a visitor while walking around the park.
My new friend!
Waiting in the shade with our sleeping girl while AJ and Daddy meet another chracter.
And AJ was still not having it.
You might have thought we were torturing him with how loud he was screaming and crying.
I felt terrible.
But his mood quickly turned around when we found a 'Honey, I Shrunk the Kids'
playground area for him to run off some steam in.
Look at that smile - pure happiness.
Sliding down the roll of film.
Next was the jumping water, which he couldn't get enough of!
Excited!
Trying to dodge the water on his feet!
Her made friends with a girl near this leaf waterfall.
She put her hand on his head and it was just adorable.
AJ was soaked by the time he was done with the jumping water and leaf waterfall.
Another slide to go down.
Musical stumps of grass.
Next it was off to meet Wreck It Ralph and Vanellope. Again,
AJ was not amused even though he was soo excited.
Chloe, on the other hand, took a liking to Ralph!
Waiting in line to meet Sorcerer Mickey!
Kisses from Daddy
Our little girl meeting Mickey for the first time... I'll always remember this moment!
We at least got AJ to not cry and not look scared for this photo with Mickey!
Someone was a bit tired after all the fun he had today!
On our way out, Dziadzi and Baba volunteered to watch the kiddos so
Daddy and I could take a ride on the Tower of Terror and Aerosmith's Rockin'
Roller Coaster. Thank you guys - we appreciated it so much!
