Meeting Dr. Long

Chloe had her first appointment with Dr. Long today.  According to him, she is doing great and he says to continue on with supplementing formula - so that's what we will do until further notice.  He also sat down with us and explained her heart condition in detail to us.   He went over the best possible scenario to the worst and everything in between.. Dr. Long assured us though that with the initial echo results the small muscular VSD should be nothing to worry about.  We have a follow-up appointment with him in about two weeks after our Yale Cardiology appointment (which he knows Dr. Hellenbrand down at Yale and he couldn't have said any nicer things about him - so that was good to hear!) so he can check in with Chloe and make sure she is doing alright.  Have I mentioned how much we like Dr. Long?!  I am so so happy we switched to him about a month or two after AJ was born!
