Buell's Orchard Annual Fall Festival

Cioci Kimmy and the girls followed us up to Buell's Orchard where we met up with Julie, Reyo and Xavier for a late morning of fun at their Fall Festival.  There is lots of fun to be had including hayrides, pumpkin picking at the pumpkin patch, apple picking and yummy apple cider donuts and cider!  The crowd was a bit bigger than we've experienced in the past, but we didn't let that put a damper on our fun for the day!

We started our morning by getting in line for the free apple cider donut and cider.  What a way to start the day with some yummy treats!  We also tried to take a few cousins photos, and as you'll see below, well, we weren't too successful!

They're almost all looking at the camera.. kind of!

Oh kiddos.. you make us laugh!

Another attempt... but this time no one is looking at the camera!

Still not digging the picture thing... oh well, at least we tried!

We then made our way to the line for the hayride, which was uber long, but worth it to see the kiddos face while enjoying the tractor ride!

Looking at the tractor for the hayride in the distance...

Getting excited he gets to go on the hayride!

Then we finally made it onto the hayride!  The kiddos loved going through the orchard, different berry patches and the pumpkin patch.  We didn't get off in the pumpkin patch to pick a pumpkin though - if you saw the line to get back onto the hayride, you would know why we stayed on!

Our attempt at a picture of me and the kids and the Matthews family.. clearly it wasn't a success!

Next we decided to pick some apples!  We had to go super far down in the orchard to even find apples on trees due to a poor apple crop this year, but the ones we did find are super delicious! [Cameo apples!]

Yummy apple!

'Here ya go, Mommy!'

Katie wanted AJ to feel included so she gave him a couple of apples to hold

He didn't want to hold them, he wanted to eat them!

Big bite!

Allie couldn't get enough of picking apples!

After we finished picking apples, we headed over to the book/author tent they had set up.  Billy Steers, the author of the Tractor Mac series of books, was there to sell and sign his books.  We picked up three of his books and had him sign each one for AJ.  Then the kiddos each took a turn sitting on 'Tractor Mac'.

Loving the fact he's sitting on the tractor!

Look at my big boy!

I think Allie liked it too!

Katie as well!

After the book signing, it was time to head out!  The girls had a quick swing on the swing set and then we parted ways.  We can't wait to do it all over again next year!  What a fun fall activity!

Swinging with a very pregnant Mommy behind them!
