Allie turns 2!

Today is Allie's 2nd birthday so after swim class and afternoon naps, we headed over to Cioci Kimmy's house to celebrate.  We had yummy homemade chili for dinner and cake for dessert and Allie had a grand 'ole time opening her presents.  Happy 2nd Birthday Allison Claire - Cioci Lissa, Uncle Mikey and AJ love you lots!!

Allie was a bit unsure of all the attention she was getting while we sang 'Happy Birthday' to her

Real Shoes!

Since AJ has started walking everywhere now, I've been having to put shoes on his little feetsies.  He has two pairs of soft leather shoes that he's been wearing around everywhere, but it's about time he gets introduced to 'real' shoes that have a rubber/hard sole.  This is what AJ thinks about that:

Now that I put real shoes on him, doesn't he look so much older?? I can hardly handle it... our little boy is growing up so fast!!  Slow it down, AJ!  Mommy and Daddy aren't ready for you to grow up just yet!

Looking like a little boy... no more baby here anymore! :(

A is for Alexander

Uncle Jack and Auntie Alicia bought AJ this cute 'Aa' onesie when he was born.  It was a size 12-18 months so I knew he wouldn't be able to wear it for quite some time, but the day has finally arrived.  And doesn't he just look so cute in it??  Thanks Uncle Jack and Auntie Alicia!

Asleep

This is what I found when I went to pick up AJ at Babcia and Dziadzi's after work today.

Finally!

It's only taken about 14.5 months, but AJ finally holds his own bottle!  And actually, he doesn't hold it every time.  He'll only hold it if he wants to take a sip out of it while standing up.  He still won't hold it while he is in my arms.  Silly, stubborn little boy!

Notre Dame, All the Way!

Notre Dame is a staple in our family.  My Great Uncle A, my Dziadzi and my Dad all love watching Notre Dame football.  Kimmy applied to Notre Dame (and got rejected on a snowy April Fool's Day, no joke..  sorry to bring up those hurtful memories!).  And I like the colors blue and gold.  So of course it was fitting that Dziadzi and Babcia picked up a Notre Dame sleeper for AJ while they were down in PA!

Nice and cozy in his new fleece sleeper

Reading his new book

Hey AJ, your book is upside down!

New Stroller

I mentioned a few posts ago that I had recently started getting back into jogging.  And because of this, I needed to find a different stroller to accompany AJ, Timber and I on our jogging adventures.  So the craigslist search began this past weekend for a BOB Revolution jogging stroller (one of the best jogging strollers on the market!).... Kimmy and I both found this one listing in Barrington, RI for a 6 year old BOB Revolution navy blue stroller for $150.  [I know that might seem a bit pricey to anyone out there who doesn't know anything about BOB strollers, but trust me - this was a downright steal!  Brand new - the strollers go for $360+].  I contacted the seller and by the end of the day on Sunday, I had staked my claim on this stroller.  AJ and I would be making the trek to Barrington (1.5 hours away) the next day to check it out and hopefully pick it up if the condition was as advertised.

Fast forward to today, and look at what we have here:

We are now the proud owners of a BOB Revolution jogging stroller!

The LR3 Baby Bump

I feel very honored to have been asked to photograph my sister's baby bump (LR3!) only a couple of weeks before he/she makes his/her arrival.  Isn't she absolutely beautiful and have the pregnancy glow?!  Thank you for letting me document this special time for you, Kimmy!

Dino Ball Popper

At one of our photo shoots this morning, our client has a one year old girl, Riley.  They know Riley will be the only child they are having so they are trying to sell off some of her toys and clothing that she no longer uses or has outgroiwn.  Lucky for us - as both Cioci Kimmy and I love a bargain when it comes to kids toys and clothes!  Cioci Kimmy scroed a handful of purple (Uncle Matt's favorite color!) sleepers for Miss Molly and I bought a dino ball popper for AJ.  The minute AJ saw it when I brought it home, he was intrigued; he couldn't wait to play with it!

He kept picking up his new toy and moving it all around - he was so excited!

He figured out how the balls were popping up.

WHoa - look at the height those balls get!

He was busy for at least 15 minutes with this toy!

Still playing around with Mr. Dino

Slippers!

The weather today has been a bit chilly so I figured it was time to break out the slippers that Melannie had picked out for Baby Sevigny at my baby shower.  Luckily she picked bunnies with blue accents - she must have known Baby Sevigny was a boy!! :)

So excited to have bunnies on his feet!

'Look at these schnazzy things, guys!'

He is just adorable!

Yummy Sausage!

While I was making dinner tonight, AJ saw me chomping down on a piece of leftover sausage and decided that he wanted it!

Scooby Doo!

Auntie Jen and the girls had gotten this shirt for AJ last Christmas and he was finally able to wear it!  Isn't he just adorable?!  I sure think so!

A Visit with Auntie Kristin!

Since Kristin was home for a long weekend visiting with her new niece, Molly, she decided she would try to make the rounds with her extended family too.  That meant we got an impromptu visit with Auntie Kristin for the afternoon... yay!  :)

Babcia reading AJ a story before Auntie Kristin arrived

Katie and AJ were loving their time with Auntie Kristin!

Allie was too.. she even tried on Auntie Kristin's glasses to see if they fit!

Katie made Auntie Kristin have a workout this afternoon - she had her running up and down the hall all while carrying Katie on her back!

AJ figured he could try them on too.. why not?

I love THIS picture!  Auntie Kristin being silly with Katie

AJ and Auntie Kristin lovin'!

Story time with Auntie Kristin!
