Mystic Aquarium

After a few months of planning, we finally met up with 'Auntie' Julie, 'Uncle' Reyo and Xavier today at the Mystic Aquarium.  The boys got to see New England's only beluga whales, some penguins, lots of fishies and they both got to feed birds of the Outback!  Even though it was only a short trip, the boys seemed to really enjoy themselves and both crashed on the way to lunch at Buffalo Wild Wings!

Say hello to Juno the beluga whale

He was so enthralled with the kiddos.. he wouldn't take his eyes off of them!

Then it was off to the sea lions!

Swim sea lion, swim!

Xavier watching the sea lions

AJ pointing to one of the sea lions

Can you find the froggy?!

We were even lucky enough to see some penguins!

Mommy feeding the pretty birdies!

Not quite sure Xavier was too into it!

AJ on the other hand wanted to touch the birds!

He did end up touching the birds and they would snack on his itty bitty fingers

Yummy!

'Look at the bird, Daddy!'

'Can he be my pet?'

Xavier was much more comfortable back in his stroller

Then we went inside to see all the different kinds of fishies... here is a tiger shark (I think!)

The fishy seemed to like AJ

Pointing to all the fish swimming around

Stingrays!

Some crazy looking fish

Love, love, love this picture of AJ and Daddy holding hands

Checking each other out

Off to the petting stingray tank

'Auntie' Julie was adventurous and bought some food for the stingrays
