AJ on the lookout for cows
There they are!
The cows came right up to us and were demanding their food with some loud 'moos'!
AJ telling Mr. Cow he doesn't have anymore hay/grass to feed him!
The kids loved how close the cows were
Katie found some hay to feed Mr. Cow
Munch munch munch
Katie taking it all in!
We got to see this baby calf that was only one day old! It's crazy how they already can be self-sufficient at only one day old!
Another photo op of the girls
Katie loves her cowgirl hat that Babcia got her!
Looking at the cows in the distance as we drove by them again
Now on to the sunflowers!

Some country barns and sunflowers
Sunflowers all around
After the hay ride was finished, we were planning on getting ice cream and then heading out to the field to try and get some more sunflower pics. But one look at the dark and gloomy clouds that were rolling in convinced us to take pictures first and then go get ice cream....
We were super smart in taking pictures first! After we were finished with the sunflowers, we headed back to the parking lot and dropped our camera gear off in the cars and then moved the cars closer to the ice cream line. We then got in line for yummy ice cream and waited! Not more than 3 minutes had passed as we were in line and the skies opened up and we were drenched! Luckily though, Marisa and Riley live only a few minutes away from the farm so after we ordered our ice cream we packed up and headed over to their house. There, we ate our yummy ice cream and the kids had some play time! Such a fun afternoon!
