Hello Swollen Feet!

With only two days until my due date, the swelling is not letting up!  Look at those hot fat toes and cankles!

Ready to be a Big Brother

We found AJ on the couch tonight reading to his doll.  I'd say he's ready to be a big brother!

38 Weeks

When I say that my swelling is in full-force.. I'm not kidding.  Check out my awesome feet and cankles (can I still even call them that?!)!

LS2 is still super active which leads me to believe he/she has no interest in coming out anytime soon. At yesterday's appointment I was measuring right at 38 weeks and LS2's heartbeat was in the 140s.  I'm definitely feeling A LOT more pressure these days so who knows when LS2 will make his/her appearance... will it be sooner rather than later?! Only time will tell!  Until then, I'll enjoy these last few weeks of feeling the baby kicks and rubbing my belly!

Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to have my picture taken this week.  So disappointed in myself! :(

Four Years

Michael and I celebrated our four year wedding anniversary today.  Some days it feels like it was just yesterday that we got married and then other days, it feels like twenty years have passed.  We've been through the best of times, the not-so-best of times and the in-between.  We have a handsome, spunky and intelligent son, Alexander James that has brought more love into our marriage than he'll ever know.  And in just about a month or so we will welcome our second child, LS2 into the world to complete our little family. Thank you Michael James for all the laughs, hugs, fights, kisses and fatherly love that you've shown over the past four years - I know that the next four years (and then some) will only be better!  Love you more!

Cioci Kimmy and Uncle Jason so graciously watched AJ for us so we could head out to Cafe Mangia in Colchester for an anniversary dinner.  The food was really good, but the timing of the meal left a bit to be desired!  Oh well.... it was a semi quick evening out for the two of us before life gets hectic again with a newborn and a two year-old running around!  We'll take it!

Frozen Veggies and a Nap

While AJ napped, Mommy took it upon herself to lay down with some frozen veggies on the top of her belly to get LS2 to move head down!

31 weeks

And edema has started to settle in.  My already big cankles have become even bigger cankles.  There are some days I can't wear my anniversary band because my fingers have started to swell a bit.  LS2 is still crazy as can be with his/her movements and Mommy is still loving it!

AJ and Baby

Lately, AJ has been taking an interest in the baby doll at Baba and Dziadzi's house.  He's even asked to take the baby home with him.  And since we've been trying to explain to AJ that he will have a new brother or sister in a few months, Baba and Dzaidzi let us take the baby home with us so he can at least get used to a little one (even though it's fake!) being in the house.  Tonight he wanted the baby to eat dinner and watch tv with him.
