AJ was having a ton of fun today playing with his car and piano.  He even tried to multi-task and drive his red car AND play the piano at the same time... Crazy AJ!!

For nap time lately, we've been laying down on Mommy and Daddy's bed and AJ falls asleep within minutes of his head hitting the pillows.  After I sneaked out of the room today for a minute, I came back to find this:

Nilla Wafers

AJ has been grabbing at the spoon and bowl and trying to bring them to his mouth every time we feed him so I thought it was about time we introduced him to finger foods.  I gave him a vanilla wafer to start off with and he did pretty well for his first time! I was impressed!  He knew exactly what to do with it - he picked it up with his cute little fingers and in it went into his mouth.  Mommy and Daddy are so proud of him.. he's a smart one!!

Goofy Monster Truck

Goofy is my absolute favorite Disney character and since we're going to Orlando and Walt Disney World in May of this year, I'm all about introducing AJ to the world of Disney!  Lucky for AJ, Babcia and Dziadzi got him a Goofy monster truck for Christmas to play with.  We pulled it out today during playtime and he really liked it.  I can't wait until May when we can actually meet and take a picture with Goofy!!

A New Best Friend?

As you know, Timber and AJ are the best of friends.  Well, I think Porter is getting a bit jealous of all the attention that Timber gets from AJ because he made an appearance today while we were in playtime.  It's very rare for Porter to get too close to AJ, but today he came in close enough for AJ to pet him.  I'm hoping to see this more often and for Porter and AJ to share the love that Timber and him have.

More Sippy Cup Time!

I ended up switching sippy cups since the first one didn't seem to be working out because the top part was too much like a bottle nipple.  And ever since I've switched, he seems to be liking this new one more and more.  I ended up catching a couple shots of him drinking from it.. he's such a big boy now and doesn't need Momma's help anymore! 

First Snow of 2012!

We got our first snow of 2012 last night into this morning and I was dying to take AJ out in it, but we had to run a few errands first.  After we got back, I changed him into his winter pram suit and off we went.  I had him lay down in it first, then we made a snow angel and then it was tummy time.  He ended up doing a face plant in the snow while on tummy time and well, he was not a happy camper after that, which I can't really blame him - that snow is super cold!!

Every night we have playtime with some of AJ's toys.  We sit on the floor with a bunch of toys spread out before us and we play around with them.  But of course  we can't have playtime alone....Timber has to join in on the fun!!  Here are just a few pics with Timber invading our playtime fun!

Princess AJ?!

It was only a matter of time before it happened.  With having two girl cousins, it was bound to happen that AJ would be in a crown or some kind of dress-up princess dress.  And tonight was the night it happened.  Katie was playing with all of her dress-up clothes at Babcia and Dziadzi's and she didn't want AJ to miss out on the fun.  It first started with a purple crown and then a gold one.  AJ completely embraced it and he looked pretty cute too!!

Play time in the High Chair

I'm one of those Mommies that doesn't like her kid to get dirty.  Yes, I realize this is a problem considering I have a little boy who I'm sure is going to love to play in the dirt and get his clothes super dirty while playing outside.   However, while I can control the dirtiness factor - I am going to.  But today, I had a moment of weakness.  Well, not really... I've just been realizing that I need to relax and let AJ play.   And if he gets dirty, it's ok - there's always a bath that can be had afterwards.  So after I was done feeding him his sweet potatoes tonight, I let him play with the bowl and spoon.  The dirtiness factor was very low since almost all of the food was gone..yay!  Hey.. don't judge.. it's all about the little steps...!!

Ride 'Em Cowboy!

Michael and I always joke that we're going to put AJ on Timber's back and let him ride around outside because it's very rare that Timber sits still.  AJ would have a ton of fun if this ever happened!!  So tonight while we were just hanging out in the living room, Michael put AJ on Timber's back and let him sit there for a little bit.  AJ was in his glory and Timber didn't seem to mind it too much!

Two Best Friends

These two seriously love each other.  Timber won't leave AJ's side and whenever Timber enters the room, AJ gets a HUGE smile on his face.  They are really the best of friends.
