Potty Training

Since AJ will be starting preschool this month, we've jumped back on the potty training wagon.  It is a requirement for the kiddos to be potty-trained in order to attend school so we've been putting a little bit of pressure on AJ to make sure is trained.  It has been going well with a few accidents here and there, but for the most part, I am quite confident that AJ will be just fine at school.  I will say it does make me a bit happy knowing he will only be at school for 3 hours a day two times a week... So the likelihood that he will have an accident at school is slim to none since it is for such a short time...Phew!  haha

We've been having better luck with peeing on the potty than pooping, which seems to be the norm for potty training.  But today we had a winner for #2 and Grandma documented it while I was at work!! 

I'm such a proud momma of this little boy!  He is making strides!

It's Go Time!

Potty training is back in full effect these days for Mr. AJ.  School is rapidly approaching and being potty trained is a requirement so it's do or die time around the Sevigny household.  Here's a little glimpse as to how AJ likes to utilize his time while on the potty...

Potty Time!

This morning AJ asked to go sit on the potty so I happily obliged.  Of course the minute I put him on it, he requests the iPad!  So anyway.. we are sitting there for what seems like forever when I finally hear him pee!  And then not too far behind he went poopy too!!  I was so stinkin' proud of him that I kept high-fiving him, giving him hugs and letting him know what a good job he had done!  Of course I had to document the occasion too....look at the smile and how proud of himself he is!

The Beginnings of Potty Training

We are JUST starting to tread the water on potty training since AJ is always going to the bathroom and sitting on his potty and saying 'I pee!'.  We haven't been successful yet with any pee-pee on the potty, but I know my little boy will soon enough catch on to it...
