Twenty Months

Only four more months and we're going to have a two-year old!  That is crazy! It's been another month of crazy fast development and more and more independence.  AJ still loves shouting out 'I pee' randomly! His bottom canines have finally cut through, but his appetite is still not where it should be.  I know I shouldn't be complaining about this because when the time comes and he's a teenager and eating me out of my house - I'll wish for these days where he would hardly eat, but Mommy worries about him!  Luckily he's started taking vitamins though and drinks a ton of milk so I know he's getting some nourishment from those two items on a daily basis.  I'm actually surprised he hasn't turned into a cow yet with how much milk he drinks!  AJ is starting to really understand his surroundings...when watching a tv show, for instance, and a joke is made or something silly happens, he will realize it was funny and laugh. It's adorable cause he will usually look right at me and it seems as though with his eyes he is saying 'Mommy, wasn't that funny?!'.  He now has been to Disney World twice in his 20 short months of life and he now says 'Minn' for Mickey.  He says 'hi' to everyone now and usually just shouts it out!  He is obsessed with 'pengs' (short for penguins) and has to watch Happy Feet Two about 2-3 times a day!  Dziadzi taught him how to go down the stairs on his bum bum and if you hold his hand, he is learning how to walk down stairs as well.  AJ is starting to repeat things Mommy and Daddy say - like when Mommy said 'crap' and Daddy said 'punk' - yeah, he repeated those words. OOPS! He absolutely loves his glo-seahorse and Mickey doll and he sleeps with at least one of them  close by at night.  He is becoming the king of rambling and we know full-blown talking is just around the horizon.  We're also trying to teach him the alphabet and he's been getting really good at repeating the sound of letters.  Soon enough, our big boy will be throwing out full sentences and we won't remember these days of rambling!

Before Naptime

Daddy left for Texas this morning for the week for work so AJ and I headed over to Babcia and Dziadzi's for the day to hangout.  And even though we were hanging out, there is always room for naptime!  We sent this photo to Daddy right before AJ fell asleep to update him on our day!

AJ went to visit Ali at the barber shop again today and still wasn't thrilled!
